Every dog that enters Pack completes a 90-minute temperament assessment before joining any group — not a quick sniff test, a structured behavioral evaluation run by a certified canine behavior consultant. We assess play style, resource sensitivity, and stress signals. Dogs are grouped by energy level and size, never just by breed. If your dog isn't a good fit for group play, we'll tell you directly and suggest alternatives.

What's boarding like — is it just a kennel with better lighting?
Pack's boarding suites are private rooms, not wire kennels. Each suite has a raised orthopedic bed, a personal belongings shelf for your dog's blanket and toys, ambient temperature control, and a nightlight. Overnight guests get two 30-minute yard sessions plus a midday group play session if they're cleared for daycare. A staff member sleeps on-site every night — not a security camera, a person.

Pack hires to a standard closer to veterinary technician than traditional daycare attendant. Every floor staff member holds Fear Free® certification, completes 40 hours of supervised training before their first solo shift, and passes a canine body language assessment quarterly. We run a 1:8 staff-to-dog ratio during active play — not 1:20 like most facilities. You'll know your primary handler's name before your first drop-off.
